Fashion Note to myself

Just a note to myself! I´m  clearing the clutter in my closet - and here are some new looks I would like to add. Especially the knit vest with multi-colored sequin detalils by Vanessa Bruno Athé, via YouHeShe, which would be perfect to wear in my studio.

I´m wondering though what the outfits will look like with 2 normal sized legs sticking out instead!?

Just had to share these magical dusty pastel tulle dresses from Viktor & Rolf RTW Spring 2010. Love the fun play with lines and the colours.

Little pink touches

Back to some pink posting. Here´s a few items I would love to add to my wardrobe to cheer up all the grey and black items that slowly take over when winter moves in. Everything is from Youheshe.com. as always  - because they are still one of the only Danish webshops that put a real effort into their styling and photography.

colour theraphy

The last 2 days here have been so rainy and grey - and a true reminder that autumn is coming up. So here´s a little colour theraphy with some lovely and muted feminime colours. Everything is from Youheshe - except the purple purse which you can find here.

Little Super Heroes

I just had to share these little super heroes from the lastest issue of Small Magazine. I love the styling and how a few accessories turn these outfits into something special.

I´m also posting them as a reminder to myself that I have to get started soon on my book about
Super Sofie.

gademode_street fashion

I heart this picture of two ladies in Copenhagen sooo much - and just thought it would be fun to make a little Get the Look via Polyvore - to honour the 2 stylish ladies. I really wish that I will end up on a bench in the sun with my best friend when I get old - and that we will look as colourfull and fun as they do.
Make sure to click the image for a bigger view.

alldressedup

I have very few regrets in my life - but one is definetely that I didn´t buy a lot of clothes from Alldressedup when I discovered the brand in Kuala Lumpur this Christmas - it was even on sale! Well here´s some styles from the Singapore based brand from their summer collection - you can also find some styles at net-a-porter.com

Add red - Fashion

It´s been a really interesting process for me to focus on the colour red - and the lack of it. And the result of my Add red week is that I´ve decided to buy the top to the left seen in Boligliv from Baum und Pferdgarten when it hit the stores - and also some more items in Coral colours - which seems to be really big this spring. It feels good to challenge one self now and then.

Pattern design 2008

Like last year - I was asked to design the pattern for a silk scarf sold by the Danish Cancer Society. It´s 65x65 cm - in 100% silk and the price is 129 dkr, and now you can buy it in their webshop here. It´s always a litlle nerve-wrecking to see the final result - but I love how the colours came out in the final print.

My friend came by the studio the other day for some coffee and I snapped this photo of the scarf on her - since her outfit was a perfect match - and I also put together some items from the YouHeShe webshop which I would love to style it with.

I´m in Copenhagen untill wensday - for a magazine design conference - so see you later.

RikkaMai Stories

My favorite designer RikkeMai - just won Guldknappen - a danish fashion award - and it´s so well deserved - and I couldn´t resist posting these pictures from her Spring/summer collection 09 - which seems like something to look forward too. RikkeMai is also the woman behind the wonderful paintings in the background. One talented lady...

Meryl Smith

I´m also joining the Theselby.com fanclub now! - and was quite intrigued by artist Meryl Smith´s home and then checked out her blog and was even more intrigued by her artwork, like the Tea Shirt, the Excessory-baggage, and the Yarn deer headpiece for Benjamin Cho´s 2008 fall show - all shown above.

Humanoid AW 08-09

I love the styling of the new Humanoid Collection AW 08-09. My favorite cardigan is from Humanoid - and I´m dreading the day it falls apart when it´s worn to pieces - so isn´t that a perfect excuse to welcome some of these outfits into my closet !?
